X-OXIDE - how to install (Mac)

1. Double-click "X-OXIDE-…-Installer.pkg".

macOS will probably say it "can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software"
(the plug-in isn't registered with Apple's paid developer programme). That's expected:
     - Click Done (not Move to Bin).
     - Open System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click "Open Anyway" next to the
X-OXIDE message. Confirm with your password.
     - (Older macOS: right-click the .pkg > Open > Open.)

2. Follow the installer. Leave both Audio Unit and VST3 ticked unless you only want one.

3. Restart your DAW.
   - Logic Pro: it rescans automatically. If X-OXIDE doesn't appear, open Logic Pro > Settings >
Plug-in Manager, find X-OXIDE, and click "Reset & Rescan Selection".
   - Find it under Audio Units > X-OXIDE > X-OXIDE (or VST3 in other DAWs).

To uninstall, delete:
  /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/X-OXIDE.component
  /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/X-OXIDE.vst3
